50 DCLM Prayer Points Against Arrows Of Addiction

50 DCLM Prayer Points Against Arrows Of Addiction:

Biblical Exhortation:

Listen closely: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:171 ESV). This is for you. You are not defined by the struggles you face. God sees you as new, capable of breaking free. Don’t let the past hold you hostage. Embrace the newness offered to you through Christ.

Confession:

Heavenly Father, I come before you acknowledging my weaknesses and the grip that addiction has had on my life. I confess that I have not always honored you with my choices and that I have allowed these chains to bind me. Forgive me, Lord, for the times I have turned away from your strength and sought solace in things that only lead to emptiness. I confess my need for your deliverance and your healing touch. In Jesus name, Amen.

Scripture Reading:

Turn your heart and mind to Psalm 34:17-19 (NIV): “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.2 A righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers3 him from them all.” Hold onto this truth. God hears your cry.

Praise and Worship:

Let’s lift our voices and hearts in praise. Think about God’s unfailing love, His mercy that endures forever. He is the one who breaks chains and sets the captives free. Let the truth of His power and goodness wash over you. He is worthy of all our praise!
