50 DCLM Prayer Points Against Arrows of Boasting:

Biblical Exhortation:

“Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.” (Proverbs 27:2, KJV)

Beloved, the Word of God cautions us against the snare of self-praise and boasting. When we exalt ourselves, we risk falling into pride, which God resists. True honor and recognition come from God and others, not from our own pronouncements. Let us cultivate humility and allow our actions and the Lord to speak for us. Let us remember that all good things come from above, and any ability or success we have is a gift from Him. Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that I am prone to the weakness of pride and the temptation to boast. Forgive me for any time I have taken glory that belongs to You alone.
