50 DCLM Prayer Points Against Arrows of Depression:

Biblical Exhortation:

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”¹ (Isaiah 41:10, KJV)

Beloved, the Lord your God speaks these words of comfort and assurance directly to you. When the shadows of depression loom and the arrows of despair seek to pierce your heart, remember this divine promise. You are not alone. The Almighty God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, is with you. Do not succumb to fear or be overwhelmed by dismay, for He is your God. Confession:

Heavenly Father, I come before You acknowledging my weaknesses and the times when I have allowed the spirit of heaviness to weigh me down. I confess that I have sometimes doubted Your presence and Your power to deliver me from the grip of despair. I confess any negative thoughts, words, and actions that have given entrance to the arrows of depression in my life. Forgive me, Lord, for not always holding fast to Your promises and for allowing fear to take root in my heart. I declare today that You are my strength and my deliverer. I renounce every agreement with the spirit of depression and I choose to walk in the light of Your truth and the joy of Your salvation, in Jesus name, Amen.
