Biblical Exhortation:
Beloved, do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.1 (Romans 12:2, ESV) Let us continually examine ourselves and ensure our lives are pleasing to God, resisting every influence that draws us away from His holy standards.
Confession:
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that we live in a world filled with ungodliness and temptations that seek to ensnare us. We confess that at times we have fallen short of Your glory and allowed the arrows of ungodliness to penetrate our lives. We confess any compromise, any participation in unholy activities, and any thoughts that have not honored You. Forgive us, Lord, for our weaknesses and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We turn away from all forms of ungodliness and commit ourselves afresh to Your will and Your ways.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
