EXHORTATION

Drug addiction and substance abuse are strongholds that can trap individuals in cycles of bondage and destruction. The enemy seeks to enslave people through these addictions, but Jesus Christ came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). The power of God is greater than any addiction, and through fervent prayer, deliverance is possible.

If you or a loved one is struggling with drug addiction, do not lose hope. The Word of God declares that “the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing” (Isaiah 10:27). No matter how long addiction has held a person captive, the blood of Jesus is powerful enough to break every chain. As you pray these DCLM prayer points, believe that God will intervene and bring total deliverance.

CONFESSION

 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 – “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

 CONFESSION: I declare that my body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, and I will not defile it with drugs or any substance abuse. I am delivered by the blood of Jesus, and every chain of addiction is broken in my life. I receive total freedom, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
