Confession:

Father Lord, we come before you today acknowledging the times we’ve allowed a spirit of recklessness to take hold in our lives. We’ve rushed into decisions without seeking your guidance, sped through opportunities without considering the consequences, and ignored the warning signs you’ve placed before us. We confess our impatience, our impulsiveness, and our reliance on our own understanding rather than your perfect wisdom. Forgive us, Lord, for the times we’ve driven our lives in a way that dishonors you and endangers ourselves and others. In Jesus name, Amen.
