Confession:

Heavenly Father, I come before you today acknowledging that I have, at times, allowed subtle forms of negativity, wastefulness, and destruction to operate in my life and around me. I confess that I haven’t always been vigilant against the small compromises and unnoticed decays that can lead to greater problems. I recognize that the “spirit of the rats,” with its tendencies towards contamination, depletion, and hidden damage, has no rightful place in my life, my family, or my endeavors. I repent for any way I have unknowingly or knowingly given it access. I now stand firm on your Word and declare that I am redeemed and protected by the blood of Jesus. I confess that I am free from every influence of the spirit of the rats. In Jesus name, Amen.

Listen to what the Word of God says in Joel 2:25: “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar,¹ and the palmerworm, the great army which I sent² among you.”
