Exhortation:

Beloved, the spirit of vindictiveness is a heavy burden, a chain that binds us to past hurts and prevents us from experiencing the fullness of God’s love and peace. It poisons our hearts, distorts our judgment, and robs us of joy. Today, we must choose to release this burden, to forgive as Christ forgave, and to walk in the freedom He offers. Remember, vengeance belongs to the Lord, and His justice is perfect. Let us lay down our weapons of bitterness and embrace the healing power of forgiveness.

Confession:

Lord Jesus, I confess that I have harbored feelings of vindictiveness in my heart. I have allowed past hurts and injustices to fester, fueling resentment and a desire for revenge. I acknowledge that this spirit is not from You, and it hinders my relationship with You and others. I repent of my unforgiveness and ask for Your forgiveness. I choose to release all bitterness and anger, and I surrender my desire for vengeance to You. I ask You to fill me with Your love, peace, and grace.
