Exhortation:

Beloved, do not be discouraged by the obsdclmles you face. The Lord your God is with you, a mighty warrior who saves. He has plans for your life, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. The forces that seek to close your doors of favor are no match for the power of God. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. Lift up your voice in prayer and declare the victory that is already yours in Christ Jesus.

Confession:

I confess that the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.¹ He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I² will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup³ overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.⁴ I confess that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment I shall condemn.
