When we loosen our grip on “mine,” we actually open our hands to receive so much more – connection, joy, and a sense of purpose that goes way beyond just us. Let’s be intentional about looking outward today, yeah?

Confession:

Father, in those quiet moments, and sometimes not so quiet ones, I confess that self can take the driver’s seat. I hold onto things too tightly – my time, my resources, my opinions. Forgive me for the times I’ve prioritized my own comfort and desires over the needs of others. I recognize the ways selfishness can build walls and dim the light You’ve placed within me. I turn away from this tendency now, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.
