DCLM Prayer Points for Authority Over Demonic Forces:

Biblical Exhortation:

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the¹ faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”² (1 Peter 5:8-9, NKJV)

Beloved, the Word of God cautions us to be alert and watchful, for the enemy of our souls is constantly seeking to undermine our faith and dominion in Christ. We are not ignorant of his devices. Therefore, let us take courage in the Lord and stand firm in our faith, resisting every attempt of the devil to steal, kill, and destroy. We have been given authority in the name of Jesus to overcome him and his forces. Let us exercise this authority boldly and with unwavering faith.

Bible Confession:

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked³ came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. I declare today that the Lord is my light and my salvation. I shall not fear! He is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? No weapon formed against me shall prosper. The Lord hides me in His pavilion, in the secret place of His tabernacle. He sets me high upon a rock. My head is lifted above my enemies. I offer sacrifices of joy and sing praises to the Lord!
