Exhortation:

The Bible warns us about the dangers of walking in the counsel of the ungodly, standing in the way of sinners, and sitting in the seat of the scornful (Psalm 1:1). As believers, we must guard our hearts, associations, and decisions to avoid the snare of sin and its consequences. The enemy often uses ungodly influences to lead people away from God’s will. However, through prayer, discernment, and obedience to God’s Word, we can remain steadfast in holiness and righteousness.

Walking in the fear of the Lord ensures that we stay on the path of life and blessings. Proverbs 4:14-15 says, “Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.” This is a divine instruction to avoid sin at all costs. We must ask for divine help to resist temptations, flee from sinful relationships, and be filled with the Holy Spirit to discern what pleases God.

As we engage in these prayers, may the Lord strengthen us to walk in righteousness, separate us from evil associations, and keep us in His holy path, in Jesus’ name.
