Power to Demolish Strongmen of Darkness

Exhortation:

As believers, we are constantly engaged in a spiritual battle against the forces of darkness. These forces, symbolized as strongmen of darkness, can manifest as obsdclmles, challenges, or even spiritual oppression that hinder us from walking in the fullness of God’s promises. However, we are not helpless in this battle. The Bible assures us that God has equipped us with divine power to overcome every evil work of the enemy.

In Ephesians 6:10-12 (KJV), we are reminded of the spiritual armor that has been provided to us:

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

The power of God equips us to demolish the strongmen of darkness—those spiritual entities that seek to control and manipulate situations in our lives. Today, let’s stir up that power through faith and prayer. The Lord has given us the authority to trample over the works of the enemy (Luke 10:19), and we can confidently confront the strongmen of darkness in our lives.

“I am a child of God, and I stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has given me power over all the works of the enemy. I refuse to be intimidated by the strongmen of darkness, for I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me. I declare that every strongman, principality, and power holding me captive is defeated by the blood of Jesus. I am free, and I walk in victory today!”

“Lord, You are the Almighty, the One who is above all powers and principalities. You have given us authority to trample over serpents and scorpions, and nothing shall by any means harm us. We worship You for the victory we have in You! Your name is higher than any stronghold or power of darkness. Hallelujah to Your name, for You are the breaker of chains, the deliverer, and the King of Glory!
