Powers of Demotion, Be Uprooted!

Bible Exhortation:

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the¹ faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.”² (1 Peter 5:8-9)

This scripture exhorts us to be alert and watchful against the devil, who seeks to bring us down. We are encouraged to resist him firmly in our faith, knowing that others also face similar battles.

Bible Confession:

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.³ Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be⁴ confident.” (Psalm 27:1-3)

I confess that the Lord is my light and my salvation. I will not fear anyone. He is the strength of my life, and I will not be afraid. My enemies will stumble and fall. Even if armies rise against me, my heart will not fear, for I am confident in the Lord.

Bible Verse:

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the⁵ Lord.” (Isaiah 54:17)

This verse assures us that no weapon formed against us shall succeed, and every negative word spoken against us will be proven wrong. This is our inheritance as servants of the Lord.
